How much do you charge?

Couples sessions are $250.00/session.

Individual sessions are $225.00/session.

Are you accepting new clients?

Yes! Please inquire via email, phone call, or text message (find my contact info here) to book a free consultation call!

Are you licensed to provide therapy in both Hawaii and California?

Yes! I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in both Hawaii and California. I provide virtual therapy to clients located in either state, and in-person sessions for those on Kauai.

Do you take insurance?

I am an out of network provider and work with Mentaya (a third party biller) to support clients in getting reimbursed according to their benefits. If you would like to use insurance while working with me please let me know in our consultation call. How long are sessions?

Sessions are typically 50 minutes long.

Do you offer evening and weekend sessions?

I offer a limited number of evening sessions however they are in high demand - please specify in your inquiry if you would like to wait for an evening spot to open up.

Weekends are reserved for intensive sessions with limited availability throughout the month. These sessions are in high demand so again, please specify in your inquiry if you would like to be waitlisted for a weekend intensive spot. 

Do you provide services via telehealth? What about in-person?

Yes I do! Sage and Vine Counseling is a virtual provider utilizing HIPAA compliant video conference calls. Virtual services are available for residents of California and Hawaii.

I'm able to offer both virtual and in-person services to residents of Kauai HI from my location on the south side of the island. In order to begin in-person services I ask for a minimum of 3 virtual sessions first. I do not guarantee at the end of the 3 virtual sessions that I will offer in-person services.

Where is your office?

Sage and Vine Counseling is located on Kauai HI. As I hold a California license I am able to provide virtual services to residents of California. 

As of 10/1/25 I will be providing services to Hawaii residents under my Hawaii licensure. 

Do you have any sliding scale spots?

I have a limited number of sliding scale spots available however they are all currently full. If you would like to fill out an eligibility form to be added to my waitlist for sliding scale, please email me. Please note that submitting the form neither guarantees eligibility nor guarantees an available spot.

What's behind the name 'Sage and Vine'?

I chose the name Sage and Vine Counseling because the imagery of calm and growth that the words 'Sage and Vine' evoke resonates with how I want my clients to feel. My goal is that you come away from our therapy sessions with new insight and a deeper wisdom about your relationships and your communications, that you feel resilient and empowered to grow and be flexible in your relationships through whatever life events you are facing. 

What is your cancellation policy?

A 72 hour notice of cancellation is required. You will be charged for the full session in event you do not cancel within 72 hours.

Do you prescribe medication?

No. As a licensed marriage and family therapist, it is outside of my scope to prescribe medication or to give medical advice or services. I provide talk therapy and am able to discuss general education around mental health. If you are looking for medication, then you would like to see a psychiatrist (they have an M.D. and as such are able to prescribe). If that is something you are looking for please ask your primary care physician for referral.
